Someone told my mother-in-law to not allow my husband bring me to Europe

A UK-based Nigerian woman, Prisca Eziefule Ulu, has recalled when someone told her mother-in-law to discourage her husband from bringing her abroad.

Prisca, who shared the story in a Facebook post on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, said the individual claimed that nurses abandon their husbands and kick them out of the house abroad. 

According to Prisca, the same person pretended to be happy about her visa approval while secretly poisoning people’s mind against her. 

She added that while she and her husband have lived peacefully in Europe for over a decade, the backbiter’s own marriage lasted less than two years. 

“Every October during our anniversary, I remember how someone went to tell my mother in-law to not allow my husband bring me to Europe. According to her, nurses abandon their husbands and even chase them out of the house when they get there,” she wrote.

 

“The funniest thing was, she will come to me and tell me she’s so happy my visa is out meanwhile behind me she was poisoning people’s mind trying to get them to change my husband’s mind. 

 

“It’s been over a decade of living in Europe peacefully with my husband and the backbiting auntie did not even last 2 years in her own marriage. She sent me a friend request some years ago, I blocked her, she’s probably watching with a fake account now.”
