The Nigeria Premier Football League has confirmed match officials and multi-platform broadcast plans for its Matchday 12 fixtures across the country.

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has released its official schedule and refereeing appointments for Matchday 12. According to an announcement published by the league, the upcoming slate includes staggered fixtures taking place across five days, alongside designated live streaming, television, and radio coverage for select encounters.

Broadcast and Streaming Selections

League administrators confirmed that several fixtures have been selected for live transmission across digital and traditional media outlets. Digital streaming coverage will feature on the NPFL YouTube channel as well as the MBI YouTube platform, while television coverage is lined up on Afro Soccer. Radio listeners will also receive coverage via the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).

Selected broadcast fixtures include:

  • Kun Khalifat vs. Kano Pillars: Streaming live on the official NPFL YouTube channel on Friday at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.
  • Rangers vs. Kwara United: Available via the MBI YouTube channel on Sunday from the Awka Township Stadium in Awka.
  • Nasarawa United vs. Plateau United: Scheduled for radio broadcast on FRCN on Sunday from Lafia City Stadium.
  • Ikorodu City vs. Inter Lagos: Streamed on the NPFL YouTube channel on Monday at Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.
  • Sporting Lagos vs. Rivers United: Airing on Afro Soccer on Tuesday at Mobolaji Johnson Arena.

Full Fixture Schedule and Match Venues

Beyond the broadcasted matches, the league announced officiating crews for an extensive weekend programme starting at 4:00 p.m. local kickoff times. On Sunday, Bendel Insurance hosts Niger Tornadoes at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Barau FC welcomes Shooting Stars at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, and Abia Warriors take on Doma United at Enyimba Stadium in Aba.

Also on Sunday, Ranchers Bees are scheduled to play Enyimba at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna—though the primary center referee designation was not specified in the league notice, while three other match officials were listed. Meanwhile, Warri Wolves meet Katsina United at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro.

Officiating Structure

Each listed fixture includes an appointed referee, two assistant referees, and a fourth official tasked with overseeing pitchside operations and substitutions. The staggered schedule allows Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, to host back-to-back high-profile fixtures on Monday and Tuesday, wrapping up the round of matches.
