Spanish football powerhouse Real Madrid has called for the immediate resignation
of LaLiga president Javier Tebas following inflammatory public comments in which
he likened the club’s communication tactics to Nazi propaganda methods, according
to a report by Daily Post Nigeria.

## Controversial Comments Spark Immediate Backlash

The latest clash between the club and the league’s chief executive escalated after
Tebas published comments on social media scrutinizing Real Madrid’s media relations.
Tebas alleged that specific journalists function as an unofficial mouthpiece for
the club to express grievances and shape public opinion.

In his social media post, Tebas drew a direct comparison to historical propaganda
techniques, writing that the approach “recalls propaganda mechanisms exploited by
Goebbels, Nazi Germany’s Minister of Propaganda: systematic repetition, construction
of an enemy, and subordination of facts to the narrative.”

## Real Madrid Responds with Demand to Step Down

Real Madrid issued a strongly worded response rejecting the comparison, describing
the league president’s comments as both “deeply offensive” and “morally repugnant.”
The club argued that such rhetoric from the head of the domestic competition crosses
administrative boundaries and damages the sport in Spain.

In their official statement cited by Daily Post Nigeria, the club stated: _“His
constant attacks on Real Madrid and those who demand transparency and regeneration
constitute, in the opinion of our club, a real scourge for Spanish football.”_

As a result of the altercation, Real Madrid formally demanded Tebas’ immediate departure
from his administrative roles, calling on him to step down not only as the president
of LaLiga but also from his position as vice president of the Royal Spanish Football
Federation (RFEF).

## Escalating Institutional Tensions

The demand for Tebas’ resignation marks a dramatic escalation in the long-standing
friction between Real Madrid and LaLiga’s leadership. Relations between the club’s
hierarchy and the league president have grown increasingly strained over governance,
financial regulations, and institutional transparency in recent seasons.

While disagreements over administrative policy and media narratives have surfaced
frequently in Spanish football, the invocation of World War II propaganda chief
Joseph Goebbels represents an unprecedented rhetorical flashpoint. Real Madrid views
the rhetoric not merely as personal critique, but as an institutional attack that
renders Tebas unfit to continue leading the country’s top division.

## What Lies Ahead

The report did not specify whether Tebas intends to issue a formal apology, clarify
his remarks, or address the resignation demand directly. Similarly, it remains unclear
whether other clubs or governing bodies, such as the Royal Spanish Football Federation,
will formally intervene or take disciplinary steps regarding the social media statement.
For now, the confrontation deepens an administrative divide at the very top of Spanish
football.

  TL;DR (AI Generated)

Real Madrid has formally demanded the immediate resignation of LaLiga president
Javier Tebas after he compared the club's media tactics to Nazi propaganda methods
used by Joseph Goebbels.

The club condemned the remarks as deeply offensive and morally repugnant, arguing
that such rhetoric damages Spanish football and renders Tebas unfit for leadership.

This unprecedented clash significantly escalates the long-standing institutional
tensions between Real Madrid and the league's administration over governance and
transparency.
