Jimmy Odukoya, the senior pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, has officially
introduced his new wife, Pastor Mo Jasmine, to his congregation. The announcement,
which took place during a Sunday service, marked the first time the leader publicly
addressed his marital status following his transition into the church’s top leadership
role in 2023.

## A Public Introduction

During the service, Odukoya addressed the congregation regarding his personal life,
noting that he had been fulfilling his pastoral duties without a partner since assuming
his current role following the passing of his father, Taiwo Odukoya. Referencing
biblical principles regarding companionship, he stated, “I was doing this work of
life alone. And you know that the Bible says it is not good. It said I will find
somebody suitable.” He then formally introduced his new spouse as Pastor Mrs. Odukoya.

The Fountain of Life Church corroborated the announcement via their official Instagram
account, sharing media of the couple and extending congratulations to the senior
pastor and his new First Lady, Pastor Mo.

## Clarification on Previous Marriage

The announcement served as a formal confirmation of the end of Odukoya’s previous
marriage to Kemi Odukoya. The couple, who were married in 2013 and share two children,
had not previously disclosed the status of their relationship to the public. According
to the report from _Daily Post Nigeria_, the dissolution of the marriage had been
kept private, leading to widespread surprise among social media users who had assumed
the two were still together.

At the time of writing, no information has been provided regarding the specific
reasons for the divorce or the timeline of the separation. The cause of the marriage’s
end remains unknown.

## Context of Leadership

Jimmy Odukoya, who is also known for his career as an actor, took over the leadership
of The Fountain of Life Church in 2023. His father, the late Taiwo Odukoya, was
the founding pastor of the ministry. Since stepping into the senior pastor position,
Odukoya has maintained a prominent profile within the church, and this recent announcement
marks a significant moment of transparency regarding his private life as he continues
his tenure.

### Conclusion

The introduction of Pastor Mo Jasmine marks a new chapter for the leadership of
The Fountain of Life Church. While the revelation of his divorce from Kemi Odukoya
was unexpected for many followers, the church has publicly embraced the new union,
signaling a transition for both the pastor and his congregation.
