The sudden passing of Nigerian gospel artist Toluwanisings on October 14, 2026,
has sent shockwaves through the local music industry. Following his unexpected death
after collapsing at his residence, many colleagues and fans have struggled to process
the loss. Among those deeply affected is BBO, a close friend of the late singer,
whose prolonged absence from public life has now prompted a public expression of
concern from fellow artist Oyinlomo Diamond.

## A Sudden Loss and a Quiet Departure

Toluwanisings’ death occurred only hours after he had performed at a music concert,
an event that left many attendees in disbelief. As the industry mourns, the focus
has shifted toward the well-being of those closest to the deceased. BBO, known for
his close relationship with Toluwanisings, has remained notably absent from social
media and public engagements since the tragedy.

Reports indicate that BBO did attend a tribute night held for the late singer this
past Tuesday. However, witnesses noted that he appeared to be avoiding media attention,
covering his face and declining to offer public remarks during the event.

## Oyinlomo Diamond’s Public Appeal

In a lengthy post shared on Instagram this Wednesday, Oyinlomo Diamond addressed
the silence surrounding BBO. While acknowledging that everyone processes grief differently,
she expressed apprehension regarding the potential health impacts of his withdrawal
from public life.

Oyinlomo Diamond stated, as reported by _Daily Post Nigeria_, that she understands
the need for reflection and sobriety in the wake of such a significant loss. However,
she emphasized that “grieving in silence is more dangerous than being loud,” and
urged her colleague to prioritize his well-being.

> “I hope you know we can’t afford to lose you too. Dear BBO… I hope you are fine?
> I understand this silence. I love how genuine you are even in death. I love how
> you didn’t chase clout with his death,” Oyinlomo Diamond wrote.

## The Weight of Grief

Oyinlomo Diamond’s message highlights the broader conversation regarding the mental
and physical toll that sudden bereavement can take on young professionals. She cautioned
BBO against the dangers of overthinking and encouraged him to take the necessary
time to rest, while also reminding him that the family of the deceased may rely
on his support during this difficult period.

As of now, there has been no official statement from BBO regarding his status or
his reasons for maintaining a low profile. The situation remains a point of concern
for his peers, who continue to monitor the circumstances surrounding his withdrawal
from the public sphere.

## Conclusion

The death of Toluwanisings has left a significant void in the gospel music community,
and the subsequent silence of his close associate, BBO, has highlighted the complex
nature of grief. While Oyinlomo Diamond’s public appeal serves as a reminder of
the importance of community support during times of tragedy, the industry continues
to wait for further updates on BBO’s well-being.
