Supermodel Cindy Crawford, along with her husband Rande Gerber and their daughter
Kaia Gerber, have addressed the public for the first time following the death of
Presley Gerber, according to reporting by [CBS News](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/presley-gerber-death-cindy-crawford-rande-kaia-break-silence/).

## First Public Acknowledgment

The family had maintained public silence following Presley Gerber’s passing, which
occurred last month. According to CBS News, the parents and sister have now broken
that silence to publicly acknowledge the loss. The development marks the first formal
response from the household following the bereavement.

Presley Gerber, the eldest child of Crawford and Rande Gerber, grew up in the public
eye alongside his sister, Kaia, with both pursuing careers in the fashion and modeling
industries following the footsteps of their mother.

## Limited Details Surrounding the Loss

Specific details regarding the circumstances, causes, or comprehensive contents
of the family’s statement were not detailed in the preliminary report. CBS News
noted that the family had not publicly commented on the tragedy prior to this recent
acknowledgment.

When high-profile families experience unexpected loss, official public statements
often remain guarded to protect personal privacy during periods of acute grief.
At this time, additional information regarding memorial arrangements, causes of
death, or further formal statements from representatives has not been independently
verified or broadly released.

## Navigating Grief in the Public Eye

The Gerber-Crawford household has long been recognized as a prominent family in
contemporary pop culture and the global modeling landscape. Both Crawford and Rande
Gerber have had decades-long presences in entertainment, business, and fashion,
meaning major family developments often draw significant global attention.

For public figures navigating severe personal bereavement, balancing public curiosity
with private mourning presents ongoing challenges. Observers and industry peers
have historically extended condolences during such moments, while allowing families
the space necessary to process tragedy away from relentless scrutiny.

As additional verified details become available through official representatives
or authorized media channels, further clarity regarding the family’s statements
may follow. For now, the focus remains on the family’s acknowledged loss and their
request for space as they navigate their grief.
