Canada secured a 31-22 victory over England in the WXV Global Series, handing the
Red Roses their first consecutive losses in ten years.

## A Rare Setback for the Red Roses

The result marks a historic low point for England, who had avoided back-to-back
defeats across all competitions for a full decade. The Canadian side managed to
outscore the Red Roses in the WXV fixture, sealing the contest with a nine-point
advantage.

With the 31-22 defeat confirmed, the English squad now faces an unfamiliar position
in international rugby union, having last experienced two straight losses ten years
ago.
