The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally responded to recent allegations
concerning the African Democratic Congress (ADC), urging the opposition party to
address its ongoing internal leadership struggles. This statement follows public
discourse regarding legal developments involving the ADC and other political figures.

## The Nature of the Dispute

According to a report from _Premium Times Nigeria_, the APC has pushed back against
suggestions that it played a role in the recent Federal High Court ruling that impacted
the ADC. The court’s judgment notably affected the leadership status of former Senate
President David Mark and the presidential nomination of Atiku Abubakar.

The APC maintains that the ADC’s current legal and administrative difficulties are
a product of its own internal instability. The ruling party has characterized the
accusations leveled against it as an attempt by the ADC to deflect responsibility
for its organizational challenges.

### Context of the Legal Challenges

The Federal High Court’s decision has created significant ripples within the political
landscape. While the ADC has faced scrutiny over its internal governance, the APC’s
statement serves as a rebuttal to claims that the ruling party influenced the judicial
outcome. The APC has explicitly advised the ADC leadership to prioritize internal
reconciliation and structural reform rather than engaging in political finger-pointing.

## The Role of Atiku Abubakar

The APC’s statement also touched upon the involvement of Atiku Abubakar, suggesting
that the former vice president has exerted undue influence over the ADC. The ruling
party alleged that Abubakar has effectively “hijacked” the party, contributing to
the current state of disarray. These claims highlight the ongoing friction between
the major political entities as they navigate the implications of the court’s recent
ruling.

### Moving Forward

As of the time of reporting, the specific details regarding the internal mechanisms
of the ADC’s leadership crisis remain largely internal to the party. The APC’s call
for the ADC to resolve its issues internally suggests a desire to distance the ruling
party from the opposition’s legal battles. It remains unclear how the ADC will respond
to these demands or what steps it will take to stabilize its leadership structure
in the wake of the court’s decision.

## Conclusion

The political environment remains charged as parties trade accusations regarding
legal and administrative setbacks. For the ADC, the path forward appears to require
a focused effort on resolving its internal leadership crisis, as suggested by the
APC. Whether these parties can move past the current cycle of blame and focus on
their respective organizational mandates remains to be seen.

  TL;DR (AI Generated)

The All Progressives Congress has urged the African Democratic Congress to resolve
its internal leadership crisis instead of blaming the ruling party for recent court
rulings.

The APC denied allegations that it influenced a Federal High Court decision affecting
the opposition party and criticized Atiku Abubakar for allegedly hijacking the ADC.

As political tensions remain high, the ruling party advises the opposition to focus
on internal reconciliation and structural reform.
